Celebrating the Launch of the First Busi Jacobsohn Vintage

2019 marked a milestone year for Busi Jacobsohn. Celebrating the launch with friends and family, of our first vintage, the Classic Cuvée Brut 2017 at Leeds Castle.

Using grapes only our single estate vineyard in Eridge, East Sussex. The  Cuvée Brut 2017 represents years of love and hard work from the Jacobsohn family.  We are thrilled to share the result of this work with you.

The Classic Cuvée Brut 2017 is a fine golden sparkling wine that blends Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.  Its rounded structure on the palate gives an aromatic complexity that lasts through to the finish. It’s soft floral flavour includes notes of lychee, peach, and a hint of brioche, and it has a vigorous mousse and a fine bead that persists.

Cuvée Brut is perfectly as an apertif as well as paired with foie gras and/or smoked salmon as a luxurious fine dining experience.

For maximum flavour and the ultimate sparkling wine experience, we recommend drinking all Busi Jacobsohn sparkling wines from a tulip-shaped glass. The curved sides of the glass bring the bubbles  fully to the top and give you the best possible experience of the fine aroma and taste.
